this is probably going to sound funny, considering the source, but that's just a little squicky for me.

Body Worlds spoiler coming up...........
















Right before coming back from Philly, I went to the Body Worlds Exhibit at the Franklin Institute. It was very artfully done, and very strategically arranged, going from very academic and pedagogical at the start, to more and more artful as the exhibit proceeded.

Some people aren't comfortable with the exhibit at all, and others are ok with parts of it. My own particular tipping point was at the very end--the muscular figure at the Web site holding up the "suit" of its own skin. That was the one that was a little too intense for me.

Prostates, mammary glands, sperm, Pap smears, poop--no problem. Skin, on the other hand--go figure :).
